Yaad-e-Rafi Season 8 Finale – Rock Star Anisha mesmerizes everyone
The function, organized in the auditorium of Sarvodaya Hospital Sector-8, was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. In which the famous poet Dr. Mukesh Gambhir, famous musicians Dr. Anju Munjal, Deependra Kant and famous film Actor, Producer & Director Chandan Mehta were present as the chief guest. Captain PL Nahar, the head of the Forum and a witness to the Indo-Pak war, welcomed the chief guest, the dignitaries and the members of the jury by garlanding them. During this, Pradhan Nahar told that this is the eighth consecutive competition.
“Yaad-e-Rafi” (Season 8) Singing competition was organized with great pomp in the memory of Mohammad Rafi on behalf of Senior Citizen Forum “The Pranayam”, Greater Faridabad. In which a large number of participants from different places across the country including Jammu, Ludhiana, Sonipat, Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad participated. During the ceremony, the participants and the audience present on the songs of Mohammad Rafi were also stunned.
Competition organized in different categories
62 participants of different age groups participated in the competition. The competition was divided into four categories – Sub Junior, Junior, Senior and Senior Citizen. After three rounds of auditions, the first, second and third place candidates in each category were selected by the jury. A panel of judges with expertise in music was formed to award the participants. Chandna Kapoor, Shalu Arora and Laxmi Das as judges who gave his best judgment.
