हरियाणा के पूर्व वित्त मंत्री कैप्टन अभिमन्यु ने वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण द्वारा पेश किये गए केंद्रीय बजट को समाज के हर वर्ग को को लाभ पहुँचाने वाला कल्याणकारी आम बजट बताया है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस शानदार बजट के लिए देश के प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी और वित्त मंत्री श्रीमती निर्मला सीतारमण बधाई के पात्र हैं. उन्होंने कहा की हरियाणा के नारनौंद में स्थित राखीगढ़ी को प्रतिष्ठित दर्जा और अनुदान देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी एवं वित्तमंत्री श्रीमति निर्मला सीतारमण जी को वे ह्रदय की गहराइयों से धन्यवाद करते हैं. राखीगढ़ी की दुनिया के नक्शे पर अपनी अलग पहचान होना उनके लिए एक सपने के साकार होने जैसा है.

कैप्टन अभिमन्यु ने कहा कि केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री द्वारा पेश किया गया बजट देश के विकास में मील का पत्थर साबित होगा. बजट में जनता के लिए टैक्स की दरों में कमी किया जाना एक ऐतिहासिक फैसला है जिससे करोड़ों लोगों को सीधा लाभ होगा. उन्होंने कहा कि अब पांच लाख रुपये तक की आय पर कोई कर नहीं देना होगा। 5 से 7.5 लाख रुपये तक की आय पर10 प्रतिशत, 7.5 लाख रुपये से 10 लाख रुपये तक की आय पर 15 प्रतिशत, 10 से 12.5 लाख रुपये तक की आय पर 20 प्रतिशत और 12.5 लाख रुपये से 15 लाख रुपये तक की कमाई 25 फीसद टैक्स देना होगा. टैक्स की ये दरें पहले से ५ से १० प्रतिशत तक कम हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्रीय बजट पूरे देश के किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा। आज का बजट किसान और कृषि को लाभान्वित करने वाला बजट है. इस बजट में जहाँ किसानों के लिए कई नई योजनाएं घोषित की गई हैं वहीँ 2022 तक किसानों की आय को दोगुनी करने का लक्ष्य तय किया गया है.

कैप्टन अभिमन्यु ने कहा कि बजट में ग्राम पंचायतों को हाई स्पीड ब्रॉडबैंड से जोड़ने वाले ‘भारतनेट’ कार्यक्रम के लिए 6,000 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किये गए हैं. इस योजना के तहत एक लाख ग्राम पंचायतों को जोड़ा जाएगा. 112 जिलों में जहां आयुष्मान भारत योजना से जुड़े अस्पताल नहीं हैं, वहां सार्वजनिक निजी भागीदारी के तहत अस्पताल बनाने को प्राथमिकता दी जायेगी. बजट में लघु और मझोले उद्योगों (एमएसएमई) को आसान ऋण उपलब्ध कराने के लिये गैर-बैंकिग वित्तीय कंपनी कानून में जरूरी संशोधन करने और रिजर्व बैंक से एमएसएमई ऋण पुनर्गठन समय सीमा बढ़ाने का आग्रह किया गया है जिससे छोटे उद्योगों को लाभ मिलेगा. उन्होंने कहा कि यह बजट आने वाले वर्षों में भारत को स्वस्थ एवं समृद्ध बनाएगा.

Hon’ble President of India inaugurates the 34th Surajkund International Crafts Mela

Faridabad, February 1, 2020 : Hon’ble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind today formally inaugurated the 34th Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2020 and Shri Satyadeo Narain Arya, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana presided over the inaugural ceremony at Surajkund, Faridabad in the august presence of Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Haryana, Shri Jai Ram Thakur, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh, Shri. Kanwar Pal, Hon’ble Tourism Minister, Haryana and His Excellency Mr. Farhod Arziev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Embassy.

The galaxy of esteemed invitees at the inauguration ceremony included Shri Randhir Gollen, Chairman, Haryana Tourism Corporation, Smt. Seema Trikha, M.L.A, Badkhal, Shri. Krishan Pal Gurjar, Minister of State for Social justice and Empowerment, Government of India and Shri. Mool Chand Sharma, Transport Minister, Haryana along with many other dignitaries who graced the occasion.

After entering from Dhanteshwari Gate, a traditional welcome was extended to the Hon’ble President of India, Haryana by Surajkund Mela Authority & Haryana Tourism. Shri Ram Nath Kovind took a round of the Theme State Himachal Pradesh’s pavilion and the ‘Apna Ghar’. He also visited crafts huts and interacted with the craftspersons and weavers. Also, the delegation from Uzbekistan, the Partner Nation of the Mela received Shri Ram Nath Kovind and he met the foreign participants and Apna Ghar of Haryana. Following which, he headed towards the Chaupal and did the honours of lighting the lamp, after which he announced the Mela open.

Shri Vijai Vardhan, Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism, Haryana & Vice Chairman, Surajkund Mela Authority extended a hearty welcome to Hon’ble President of India and expressed gratitude towards all the present dignitaries for being a part of the Mela. He further stated that it is a matter of pride that the 34h edition of the mela is being inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India. He expressed his gratitude to Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Haryana and for his able leadership for helping Surajkund mela attain the status it has today. He further stated that Uzbekistan and India share ties since ancient times and this mela will bring alive the age-old bond.

Mr. Farhod Arziev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan Embassy thanked government of Haryana and Haryana Tourism for giving them the opportunity to be a part of this grand celebration. He also stated that over 100 craftspersons and many cultural troupes have come to participate in the mela and will bring the true colours of Uzbekistan to the people of India.

Shri Jai Ram Thakur, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh stated that Surajkund Mela is a great manifestation of how this platform provides opportunities to craftspersons in a friendly environment and a beautiful ambience. He also invited all the people to come visit the enchanting state of Himachal Pradesh.

Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Haryana addressed the gathering and pointed out that the Mela gives a glimpse of India’s civilization and culture. He welcomed all the artisans and stated that the artisans and craftspersons are the soul of this mela. Both Himachal Pradesh and Uzbekistan have spread the colours of their culture with their handicrafts and art.

He further mentioned that state of Haryana is making strides in further developing the tourism of the state in places like Kurukshetra, Aravalli Hills, Farm Tourism and also the state will be publishing an Atlas that will encompass all the aspects of the state of Haryana.

The Hon’ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind appreciated and applauded the efforts to preserve the languishing crafts of our country through this grand mela. Surajkund Mela is an opportunity for all artisans to take full advantage and showcase our hidden glory and that the mela is a confluence of art, Music and Culture from across the world.

The object of this Mela is to promote handicrafts, arts and the culture of the country and that this Mela has promoted rural crafts. Because of this Mela, new generation gets to know about country’s heritage.

He further stated that the idea of having a theme state lends uniqueness to the mela and festivals bring visitors from across India as well as abroad. He highly praised the facilities provide in the mela premise, including security, cleanliness, digital payments and online booking facilities for the visitors.

He expressed happiness about the fact that Uzbekistan as Partner Nation has got its contingent of artisans, master chefs and artistes and there is an overwhelming participation of craftspersons from Central Asia, SAARC nations and many other countries. He also commended the efforts of Surajkund Crafts Mela Authority and Haryana Tourism for organising an event of this level.

The inauguration ceremony of the Mela also saw enthralling performances by Himachali troupe who performed the Himachali Nati called Mala Nritya and the artists from Uzbekistan enthralled the audience with the traditional Lazgi Dance.

Football week organised at G.D. Goenka Faridabad

“All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”. We all are well aware of this saying which clearly implies the vitality of games and sports in students’ lives. Games sustain physical and emotional wellbeing of an individual, providing him opportunities for positive social interaction, learning, health and independence. Games are the way children and young people explore the world around them and develop practical skills, allowing them to learn
through curiosity, invention and persistence. Outdoor games are the athletic or sporting games that involve physical activity and are generally played outside in the open.

G.D.Goenka School always aims at harmonizing studies and fun for the students with the purpose of their enjoyment, learning and overall development.
Keeping this in mind, interclass and inter house football competition was organized for classes III to V and VI to VIII respectively from 11 to 16 December, 2015 in the school. Students participated enthusiastically in the competition with a healthy spirit of winning the competition. First of all the inter house match was conducted .The duration of the match was 30-5-30. There was a neck to neck competition among all the houses. All FIFA rules were followed in the match and the students displayed a perfect example of sportsmanship, enthusiasm and zeal. The spectators were highly excited to see the mind blowing performances of the participants on the ground. VIVEKANANDA HOUSE bagged first position with 20 points, RADHAKRISHNAN HOUSE secured second position with 15 points, TERESA
HOUSE got the third prize with 10 points and TAGORE HOUSE attained fourth position with 5 points.
After the inter house match, the interclass match started .The primary students were no less than the senior ones in demonstrating their passion and gusto in the competition. The attacker, the ball carriers and the other players played extremely well in displaying all the skills of the game on the ground. Class V attained the first position with 20 points , class IV got second position with 15 points and third prize was achieved by class III with 10 points.
This competition provided the students a wonderful prospect to exhibit their aptitude and such competitions will be held in the school time to time to let the children develop and polish themselves .

Annual Sports Event held at G.D.Goenka Faridabad

Sports is the important part of curriculum of the students for an overall development of the personality of each student. In order to provide sufficient exposure to the students of the school G.D.Goenka Public School, Faridabad
involves its students in some form of sports activities. In order to encourage these little kids, annual sports day was organised on Wednesday 21st October, in the sprawling ground of the school at Seekri in Faridabad. Chairman of the school, Shri Radheyshyam Gupta presided over the function. In his welcome address Dr. Shreesh Bhardwaj, Principal welcomed the chief guest and the guests. After this the students started performing their expertise in the physical activities. Divesh Rana, the sports captain of the school administered the ceremonial oath after the march past of the students. After this the sports torch was lighted by students Divesh Rana and Rinkal Lohia.
The students left the guests and parents spell bound with the rainbow of their presentations. While the students of Pre-nursery and Kindergarten presented boll pop dance, skating skills were displayed by the students of class three to five. In the drill activity the students of class five to eight displayed their expertise with the students of class three to seven presenting their gymnastics, acroyoga and martial arts. The display of Karate skills in the drill performed by the students of class three to seven received a loud applause.
In the range of entertainment races Rabit Race, Apple Collection Race, Garland Race, Party Race, Coconut Race etc. keep the guests totally spellbound. Other events that entertained the guests with the performance of the tiny tots were Hockey Dribbling race, Relay Race, Flat Race, Flag Collection Race, Biscuit Race, Back pack Race etc.
In the athletics section the races in the range of 100 meters to 1500 meters were organised with different student groups. A relay race of 4 x 100 meter was also organised. In the series of Cultural Program students of primary classes presented the Fan Dance and Zumba Dance displaying their perfection in dance too. In other categories of sports the students displayed their might in Discuss throw, Javelin Throw, Shot-put Throw, High Jump, Long Jump etc.
The chief guest awarded the best athlete in the boys and girls category. One of the important features of this program was that principals of renowned schools of Faridabad were also special invitees in the program.
