2nd National Boomerang Championship organized by Indo-Boomerang Association.

2nd indo boomrang
‘Mowgli’, the jungle boy, was found with wolves in 1831 in the caves of Santbawdi village in the Gond tribal area of Seoni. Mowgli, a Gond tribal, held a weapon, the Boomerang, a hunting tool and weapon of the tribe. After being discovered by some British hunters, and their reciting the tale to their counterparts, famous writer Rudyard Kipling recreated the character and made him a famous kid with superhuman powers.

Boomerang, as is obvious from its name, is something that returns to the thrower when thrown with a certain technique. It was used for hunting, catching fruits and even defence. Originally, it was made of wood, but in present times, it is mainly a sport tool, and championship boomerangs are mainly foam and PVC materials. To promote the sport of boomerangs with its history and prehistory accurately, then perhaps we need to insist:
If it doesn’t come back, it’s not a boomerang. Indo-Boomerang Association was founded in 2019 by Mr. Vivek Montrose, with the aim of promoting this already international sport, give the country its team to represent nationally and internationally.

  • The first National Boomerang Championship was held in 2020 in Madhya Pradesh.
