  • Ambush in Poonch: A soldier was killed and four others injured in a militant ambush on an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Poonch on May 4. The militants attacked the convoy, prompting the Air Warriors to retaliate by returning fire.
  • IAF Response: The IAF confirmed that five personnel sustained bullet injuries during the attack and were immediately evacuated to the nearest military hospital for medical treatment. Sadly, one of the Air Warriors succumbed to his injuries later.
