Khattar motivates Haryana Farmers

unnamedHaryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, has stressed the need for special emphasis on the marketing of agricultural produce which would help increase the income of the farmers. It is vital in the present era of globalisation.
He was speaking after inaugurating an exhibition at the Agri Leader Pavilion at the three-day Haryana Agri Leadership Summit, 2015, in Gurgaon, today. He was accompanied by the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, the Haryana Agriculture Minister, O.P Dhankar, the Cooperation Minister, Bikram Singh Yadav and the BJP state President Subhash Barala.
The Chief Minister went round the exhibition and took a close look at the products displayed by the large number of cooperative societies and progressive farmers of Haryana. Farmers from across the country are attending the Summit in large numbers. Appreciating the products displayed by the farmers, he said that after production, we must move forward and think of new ways of marketing the agricultural produce.
The Chief Minister visited the stalls at the exhibition and listened to the views and suggestions of the people for making agriculture a more profitable venture. The Haryana Agri Leadership Summit, 2015 has been organized with a view to ensuring that the farmers scaled new heights of success. The Summit has provided the farmers a platform to share their experiences with each other. Those who have excelled in the field of agriculture by using the latest techniques would become a source of inspiration for others. Boosting their morale, Manohar Lal asked them to continue to do their hard work and assured them full support and cooperation of the state government. Haryana is an agrarian state and the farmers constitue its backbone, added the Chief Minister.
